Senior Specialist, Business Analysis

Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead business analysis efforts across multiple initiatives, delivering high-quality requirements and actionable insights
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to define business needs and solution approaches
• Gather, document, and validate detailed business requirements (BRDs, process maps, functional specifications)
• Analyze business processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements
• Translate business needs into technical requirements in partnership with IT and project teams
• Support implementation efforts by ensuring alignment between business objectives and delivered solutions
• Monitor outcomes of implemented solutions and recommend continuous improvements
• Act as a subject matter resource, providing guidance to less experienced analysts when appropriate
• Influence stakeholder alignment, timelines, and priorities across initiatives

Requirements

• Required: Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Economics, or related field
• Required: 5+ years of experience in business analysis or a related discipline
• Required: Strong expertise in requirements gathering, process mapping, and data analysis
• Required: Knowledge of financial services products, regulatory environments, and risk management principles
• Required: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Visio, and data visualization tools
• Required: Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred

• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Finance, or related discipline
• Preferred: Advanced degree in Business Analytics, Finance, or related discipline
• Preferred: Experience working in Agile environments
• Preferred: Experience with SQL, Tableau, Power BI, or similar analytics tools
• Preferred: Professional certification (CBAP, PMI-PBA, or similar)
