Business Processes Specialist - Inbound Freight/Freight Claims

About the role

The ERP Business Specialist position is located at Viking Electric Office Locations. This is a Full-Time role with a flexible schedule of Monday through Friday, standard office hours. The hourly pay range is $20.00 - $29.00 per hour, with compensation including a base salary, short-term incentive bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Perform research, requests, communication, instruction, and transaction processing for a wide range of business processes reliant on the ERP system.
• Process credit re-bills, troubleshoot errors when processing manifests, and handle returns processing.
• Use independent judgment when outside normal processes.
• Provide business and system guidance to Viking Electric associates and external partners to ensure policies and processes are executed properly.
• Monitor ERP system queues and reports for aging unfinished tasks. Work with associates and leaders to ensure tasks are completed within acceptable timeframes.

Requirements

• A minimum of 2+ years of experience supporting business processes, sales, or accounting-related transactions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and comfort with technology.
• A High School/GED degree is required.
