Job Summary

The Freight Claims Specialist plays a crucial role in managing and recovering freight claims related to lost or damaged shipments across parcel and LTL carriers. Reporting to the Logistics Manager, this position requires a detail-oriented, self-motivated, and solutions-focused individual.

What You’ll Get to Do

  • Extract claims data from SAP, identify eligible claims, and submit claims to carriers (UPS, LTL providers, etc.)
  • Coordinate with external partners (e.g., ECO) using standardized documentation to process and track claims through resolution
  • Manage parcel claims via carrier dashboards, ensuring timely filing to recover eligible insurance amounts
  • Maintain claim status, update dashboards, and track recovery amounts, trends, and outstanding claims

What We Are Looking For

  • 2+ years of experience in freight claims, logistics, customer service, or a related function
  • Working knowledge of SAP or experience navigating ERP systems to extract and analyze data
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to identify trends and recommend process improvements
  • Experience working with parcel and/or LTL carriers (UPS experience preferred)
  • Self-starter with strong attention to detail and ability to manage manual processes in a fast-paced environment

Position Pay Range

$20.19 USD - $30 USD
