About the role
The Business Process Specialist (M&A) is a strategic role focused on the harmonization of operations during corporate integrations, divestitures, and carve-outs. - Conduct comprehensive gap analyses to assess the alignment of target company processes with established Airgas standards.
- Architect scalable "Future State" process models to facilitate the seamless integration of target entities into the Airgas operational ecosystem.
- Formulate and formalize standardized operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure functional harmonization across the newly unified organization.
- Help to quantify and track realized operational synergies, focusing on cost-mitigation and efficiency gains derived from post-integration process enhancements.
- Monitor critical Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) throughout the post-merger integration lifecycle to safeguard productivity and maintain Airgas customer service standards.
- Identify and implement automation opportunities within unified workflows to accelerate the extraction of deal value and operational maturity.
- Assist with compiling and providing data input for monthly reports to Corporate and Group, quarterly reports to the Board of Directors, and other required reporting functions.
- Act as a liaison between the Corporate Development team and functional business units.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or other related field.
- At least 3-5 years of professional experience in a corporate environment, interacting with both internal and external stakeholders in Business Process Improvement or as part of an M&A integration team.
- High level of proficiency in Google Suite applications, with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 10%.
Qualifications
- Foundational working knowledge of Airgas’ strategic plans and business model to facilitate effective support of Potential Transaction analysis.
