Business Office Manger / Short Term Skilled Nursing Facility

About the role

Here at The Center at Parmer, we are currently looking for a Business Office manager to add to our growing team. As the Business Office manager of a Skilled Nursing Facility you will be responsible for A/R, A/P collections, insurance verification, and maintain resident medical records. Works with patients and/or family members to complete financial packets, prepares admission and financial packets, handles various business office duties, prepares accounts for rebilling, files secondary insurance and sends to correct carriers with proper documentation, identifies coding or billing errors from EOBs and works to correct errors in a timely manner, fills in for front desk when on break or lunch.

Responsibilities

• Works with patients and/or family members to complete financial packets
• Prepares admission and financial packets
• Handles various business office duties
• Prepares accounts for rebilling
• Files secondary insurance, sends to correct carriers with proper documentation
• Identifies coding or billing errors from EOB's and works to correct errors in a timely manner
• Fills in for front desk when on break or lunch

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work independently with limited direction
• Detail oriented and organized
• High level of patience and tact
• 1 year of BOM experience in a Short Term Skilled Nursing Facility
• Management experience: 1 year (preferred)

Schedule

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability
• Weekend MOD rotation
