Duties And Responsibilities
- Assisting with all financial accounting and reporting, procedures and internal controls of the department
- Assisting with collection and reviews of financial statements on a monthly basis
- Assisting with timely billing and collection of Medicare, Medicaid and Insurance claims
- Assisting with patient transportation when required for patient appointments, both clinical and non-clinical as approved by the Administrator and Assistant Administrator
- Dispense resident trust funds as requested from residents and obtain proper signatures for withdrawn funds under the supervision of the BOM
- Deposit and post all receipts into the resident trust fund on a daily basis under the supervision of the BOM
- Aid in providing each resident/responsible party with a quarterly accounting of their funds managed by the facility
- Aid in the process to reconcile and replenish resident trust petty cash as often as needed under the supervision of the DOM
- Maintain all signed withdrawal forms in an individual file for each resident
- Review balances every month with the Administrator/CEO and/or Assistant Administrator as requested and required
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Class C Driver’s License
- Excellent time management skills
- Excellent computer and communication skills
- The ability to interact with people in all levels of the organization
Preferred
- 2 years of experience in a business office setting
- 1 year in a healthcare setting
