Business IT Analyst:
About the Role
As an IT Business Analyst, you'll create strong customer relationships through collaborating with an Agile development team to design and deliver digital solutions that empower stakeholders and advance critical missions. We're seeking a proactive analyst who can translate business needs into actionable insights, explore emerging technology trends, and create intuitive, user-focused digital experiences that make a real impact. You'll drive mission success through innovation.
What You'll Do
You'll shape digital solutions, including applications, websites, systems, and products that matter. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of developers, testers, DevSecOps engineers, data scientists, AI/ML specialists, UX designers, and content strategists, you'll translate stakeholder needs into actionable user stories and deployable features. On our team, you'll support Digital Airpower Solutions, working closely with key stakeholders to understand mission requirements and operational challenges. You'll leverage your knowledge of DoW processes, including technical data, aircraft maintenance, program management, logistics, contract management, and IT compliance, to deliver solutions that meet strategic objectives. Using tools like MS O365, Azure DevOps, SharePoint, Jira, and Balsamiq, you'll help assist in tactical planning and ensuring seamless execution.
Required Qualifications
- Experience using Microsoft Office 365 Suite
- Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies
- Experience with stakeholder management and requirements gathering
- Experience with data or business analysis, process automation, UI/UX, or artificial intelligence
- Ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in SharePoint management, Azure DevOps, Jira, or Confluence
- Experience with AI LLMs such as Microsoft Copilot or ChatGPT
- Experience in IT development ticket management
- Knowledge of Air Force aircraft acquisition and sustainment processes
- Ability to demonstrate adaptability and curiosity
- Possession of excellent problem-solving skills
- Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification

Compensation
Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $55,200.00 to $126,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
