Business Financial Manager
Travel Required: Up to 10%. Clearance Required: Active Secret.
About the role
The Business Financial Manager will work with program leadership to review funding documents and provide business financial management and programmatic support, while maintaining responsibility for analytical, technical, and administrative duties in one or more phases of the budgetary process for our Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) client. They will work in a fast-paced, multi-discipline team made up of technical subject matter experts, program and financial analysts, contract administrators, government partners, and government project managers supporting the advancement of the current state of the art in a wide range of technology areas.
Responsibilities
- Review funding documents and provide business financial management and programmatic support
- Perform analytical, technical, and administrative duties in one or more phases of the budgetary process
- Create and track schedules for financial commitments, obligations, and expenditures
- Handle solicitations and contracting actions
- Generate Military Interdepartmental Purchase Request (MIPR) and Purchase Request (PR) documents
Requirements
- Active and maintained "SECRET" Federal or DoD security clearance
- Bachelor's degree
- Four (4) or more years' experience with budget and/or financial analysis
- One (1) or more years' experience with program and/or project management
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance
- Two (2) or more years' experience managing DoD programs in a DoD environment
- Experience with the DAI financial system
- Experience supporting defense R&D programs
