Business Financial Manager

About the role

The Business Financial Manager will work with program leadership to review funding documents and provide business financial management and programmatic support, while maintaining responsibility for analytical, technical, and administrative duties in one or more phases of the budgetary process for our Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) client.

Responsibilities

• Work with program leadership to review funding documents
• Provide business financial management and programmatic support
• Maintain responsibility for analytical, technical, and administrative duties in the budgetary process
• Support the advancement of the current state of the art in a wide range of technology areas

Requirements

• ACTIVE and MAINTAINED "SECRET" Federal or DoD security clearance
• Bachelor's Degree
• Four (4) or more years' experience with budget and/or financial analysis
• One (1) or more years' experience with program and/or project management
• Experience with schedule creation and tracking of financial commitments, obligations, and expenditures
• Experience with solicitations and contracting actions
• Experience generating Military Interdepartmental Purchase Request (MIPR) and Purchase Request (PR) documents

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance
• Two (2) or more years' experience managing DoD programs in a DoD environment
• Experience with the DAI financial system
• Experience supporting defense R&D programs
