Business Financial Manager

Full-time role requiring a Top Secret security clearance. Hybrid remote work location in Washington, DC 20005, with a Monday to Friday schedule.

Responsibilities

• Support the development of program budgets, schedules, and tracking of financial commitments, obligations, and expenditures
• Manage new program acquisition, solicitations, and contracting actions
• Provide financial analysis and support to defense research and development programs
• Work with the Defense Agencies Initiative (DAI) financial system
• Generate military interdepartmental purchase request (MIPR) or purchase request (PR) documents
• Collaborate with advanced research project agencies, including DARPA, ARPAe, and IARPA

Requirements

• BA or BS degree
• 3+ years of experience with financial analysis
• 3+ years of experience managing DoD or R&D-type programs
• DoD-issued Secret clearance (Top Secret required for the role)
• Ability to exhibit flexibility, adaptability, and team orientation

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with defense research and development programs
• Experience working with the Defense Agencies Initiative (DAI) financial system
• Experience generating military interdepartmental purchase request (MIPR) or purchase request (PR) documents
• Experience working with advanced research project agencies, such as DARPA, ARPAe, and IARPA
• BA or BS degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
• DoD-issued TS/SCI security clearance
