Responsibilities
- Apply knowledge of the Firm's Global Transactions Client Strategy to align and drive Business Development and Marketing activities.
- Collaborate with the US Global Transactions Senior Business Development Manager and colleagues to develop pitches, campaigns, and proposals.
- Create and manage compelling proposals and pitches for various opportunities.
- Maintain and update practice-specific collateral materials, experience lists, and marketing resources.
- Create and oversee US-specific content, campaigns, events, and directory/submission efforts to engage key clients and enhance the firm's reputation.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities by understanding clients' needs and industry trends.
- Mentor and guide junior colleagues on live work projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in a professional services firm, preferably in corporate restructuring or finance.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple deadlines and changing project criteria.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Suite and familiarity with systems like Foundation, Salesforce, Sharepoint, Pitchbook, Mergermarket, Refinitiv, CapitalIQ, and Preqin is a plus.
- Excellent written, presentation, and oral communication skills.
- Passion for business development and a commitment to continuous learning.
Benefits
Compensation range for this role is estimated at $125,000 to $150,000 per year, specific to the States of New York and California. Freshfields is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace where everyone can contribute to the firm's success.
