About the role
Secure Yeti is seeking a skilled and experienced Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity, with a focus on penetration testing, vulnerability assessment, compliance, policy and compliance, security architecture, strategic support, threat intelligence and detection, incident response and recovery, and education and training.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough penetration tests to identify vulnerabilities in client systems.
- Perform vulnerability assessments to ensure systems meet industry standards.
- Develop and maintain compliance programs to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Design and implement security architectures that protect client networks.
- Support strategic initiatives by providing actionable insights and recommendations.
- Monitor and analyze threat intelligence to detect and respond to potential threats.
- Train clients on best practices for maintaining a secure environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in cybersecurity roles.
- Proven experience in conducting penetration tests and vulnerability assessments.
- Knowledge of common security protocols and standards such as NIST, ISO, and PCI-DSS.
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms and SIEM tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- CISSP certification preferred.
- Experience with cloud-based security solutions.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Skills
- Proficient in Python, PowerShell, and other scripting languages.
- Skilled in using tools like Kali Linux, Metasploit, and Nessus.
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience with Git and version control systems.

Pay
- $100,000 - $150,000 annually.
