About the role

Secure Yeti is seeking a skilled and experienced Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity, with a focus on penetration testing, vulnerability assessment, compliance, policy and compliance, security architecture, strategic support, threat intelligence and detection, incident response and recovery, and education and training.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough penetration tests to identify vulnerabilities in client systems.
  • Perform vulnerability assessments to ensure systems meet industry standards.
  • Develop and maintain compliance programs to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Design and implement security architectures that protect client networks.
  • Support strategic initiatives by providing actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Monitor and analyze threat intelligence to detect and respond to potential threats.
  • Train clients on best practices for maintaining a secure environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in cybersecurity roles.
  • Proven experience in conducting penetration tests and vulnerability assessments.
  • Knowledge of common security protocols and standards such as NIST, ISO, and PCI-DSS.
  • Experience with threat intelligence platforms and SIEM tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

  • CISSP certification preferred.
  • Experience with cloud-based security solutions.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Skills

  • Proficient in Python, PowerShell, and other scripting languages.
  • Skilled in using tools like Kali Linux, Metasploit, and Nessus.
  • Familiarity with AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
  • Experience with Git and version control systems.
