About The Role

The Business Development Representative (BDR) drives the early stages of the sales cycle, identifying, contacting, and qualifying prospective business accounts. Operating in a high-velocity, outbound-focused environment, this role acts as the first point of contact for enterprise and mid-market organizations evaluating cloud and SaaS solutions. This position requires a systematic approach to outbound prospecting, leveraging modern sales intelligence tools to map decision-makers and initiate meaningful conversations. The role is designed for high-performers looking to master the fundamentals of B2B sales development and build a foundation for a career in account management or sales leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute high-volume outbound prospecting campaigns via cold calling, personalized emailing, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator outreach to secure qualified meetings.
  • Qualify inbound marketing leads against target buyer personas, technical requirements, and budget constraints.
  • Partner with Account Executives to map strategic target accounts, develop tailored messaging, and coordinate multi-touch outreach sequences.
  • Maintain meticulous record hygiene in Salesforce, tracking all customer interactions, lead statuses, and prospecting activities.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly quotas for Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs) and pipeline generation.
  • Collaborate with the product marketing team to provide real-time feedback on lead quality and the effectiveness of outreach messaging.

What We Are Looking For

  • 0-2 years of professional experience, preferably in a sales, customer service, or high-volume outreach role.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and persuasively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Resilience and self-motivation to navigate high-volume outbound activity and rejection on a daily basis.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively across multiple target accounts.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, communications, or a related field is preferred.
  • Bonus: Hands-on experience with Salesforce, Outreach.io, ZoomInfo, or similar sales tech stack tools.
