About The Role
The Business Development Representative (BDR) role is the engine of the sales pipeline, responsible for identifying, contacting, and qualifying prospective enterprise SaaS accounts. Operating at the top of the sales funnel, this role focuses on converting outbound prospects and inbound leads into high-value opportunities for the Account Executive team. This is a high-volume, performance-driven role requiring structured outreach, strategic account research, and deep familiarity with modern sales technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute high-volume outbound prospecting campaigns using phone, email, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator to schedule qualified meetings.
- Conduct deep research on target accounts to identify key decision-makers, map organizational structures, and uncover pain points.
- Manage and maintain clean, accurate data records within Salesforce CRM to ensure proper tracking of lead interactions and pipeline metrics.
- Draft highly personalized cold-outreach messaging sequences tailored to specific buyer personas, including Director and C-level tech executives.
- Collaborate weekly with Marketing and Sales Ops teams to optimize lead scoring, refine target account lists, and align messaging trends.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly quotas for completed Discovery Calls and qualified Sales Opportunities generated.
What We Are Looking For
- 0-2 years of experience in a sales, customer success, business development, or high-volume client-facing role.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to articulate technical value propositions clearly and concisely.
- High level of resilience, self-motivation, and coachability in a metrics-driven, quota-carrying environment.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage 80+ daily outreach touchpoints.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Bonus: Hands-on experience using modern sales tools such as Salesforce, Outreach.io, ZoomInfo, or LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
