Responsibilities
- Build a territory and grow earnings by developing repeat business relationships and opening new business.
- Call on engineers, maintenance, purchasing, and others using a consultative selling approach to learn about their applications and needs.
- Achieve sales and profit goals by developing new business through cold calling, prospecting, and in-person presentations.
- Prepare quotations and proposals, follow up, negotiate terms, and close transactions.
- Conduct product demonstration sessions for customers, survey market conditions, and analyze competitive conditions.
- Complete reports regarding itineraries, expenses, sales calls, leads, and other related reports.
Requirements
- 1+ years' business to business sales experience or proven professional leadership skills.
- Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
- Basic word, excel, and computer skills.
- High school diploma or equivalency.
- Must be able to travel 40-50% of the time.
- Proven experience in developing new business, building repeat business, and managing a sales territory.
- Business to business outside sales experience.
