Business Development Manager, Parking Safety
The Role
The Business Development Manager, Parking Safety Specialist is responsible for driving customer acquisition and growth objectives. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and optimizing outbound sales campaigns.
- Pursuing qualified leads and creating custom quotes.
- Routing opportunities to the outside sales team.
- Collaborating with BU Sales Engineers and Independent Manufacturing Reps for field support.
- Managing relationships with assigned distribution accounts.
- Upselling and cross-selling to existing accounts.
- Supporting new product launches and marketing campaigns.
- Using and improving sales processes with tools like Salesforce, HubSpot, ZoomInfo, Teams, Outlook, Onesource, and Power BI.

What You’ll Do
Key responsibilities include:
- Driving new customer development through outbound sales campaigns.
- Optimizing the impact of existing and new outbound sales campaigns.
- Pursuing qualified end-user leads.
- Creating custom quotes and identifying appropriate distributors.
- Sourcing new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls.
- Assisting the outside sales team by taking over ownership and follow-up of established sales deals.
- Understanding end market trends and industry best practices.
- Collaborating with BU Sales Engineers and Independent Manufacturing Reps for sales in the field.
- Working closely with product management to support new product launches and other marketing campaigns.
- Continually improving verbal and written communication, listening, presentation, and phone skills.
- Using and growing the sales process with exceptional use of Salesforce, HubSpot, ZoomInfo, Teams, Outlook, Onesource, and Power BI.
Qualifications
- 5 years of sales experience.
- Experience with SalesForce CRM.
- Travel of 50-60%.
Compensation
The position offers a competitive base salary ranging from $110,000 to $130,000. Actual base salaries may vary based on factors such as location, relevant experience, and performance. Additionally, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan to enhance the overall total compensation package.
