Business Development Manager - Financial Wellness Solutions

About the role
As a Business Development Manager within PNC's Financial Wellness Solutions organization, you will be based in Louisville, KY. PNC Financial Wellness Solutions offers a comprehensive suite of solutions to meet the needs of businesses and their employees. In this role, you will work directly with clients to develop and drive financial wellness programs aligned with organizational goals, providing innovative solutions including health and benefit accounts, student debt solutions, earned wage access, and other financial wellness offerings.
You will employ a consultative sales approach to acquire new business relationships and work with client services teams and partners to support the growth of a book of business. Experience selling to one or more of the following areas is preferred: professional services, manufacturing, healthcare, wholesale, or general services.

Responsibilities
- Acquire new clients across financial wellness solutions, focusing on growing sales, revenue, and market share with relevant sales goals.
- Acquire, expand, and retain client relationships to generate revenue and deepen share of wallet, handling origination, financial analysis, negotiation, and documentation of non-credit products and services.
- Manage risk and drive quality for new and existing clients, actively identifying and mitigating regulatory, reputational, and operational risks.
- Provide ideas and insights based on client needs to increase engagement and loyalty, presenting the full range of PNC’s products and services.
- Build an effective network of internal and external relationships to acquire new clients, expand existing relationships, and enhance the client experience.
- Leverage reporting and sales tools to proactively identify and convert sales opportunities.
- Analyze, evaluate, and inform on financial wellness solutions product knowledge, industry benchmarking, and solution positioning.
PNC employees are expected to be customer-focused, knowledgeable of practices that align customer needs with solutions, and adept at managing risk in alignment with PNC’s Enterprise Risk Management Framework.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or a comparable combination of education, job-specific certification(s), and experience (including military service).
- Typically requires 3+ years of relevant or direct industry experience.
- Preferred experience in selling to professional services, manufacturing, healthcare, wholesale, or general services.
