Business Development Executive - Power Generation

Primary Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the ISE executive team to create and implement business development strategies with a focus on power generation customers.
  • Identify new business opportunities, develop relationships with potential partners, and execute the strategic business plans.
  • Provide voice of customer inputs for business development strategy, emphasizing equipment emission requirements, power generation equipment performance, and general power market competitive intelligence.
  • Communicate responsively to customers and coworkers regarding potential projects, quote opportunities, and updates on existing proposals. Coordinate with the sales team to manage key oilfield service accounts.
  • Coordinate the development of proposals in response to requests for proposals (RFPs), working with other department heads, technical sales reps, production engineers, and sales managers/directors to coordinate account setup, customer vision/specification, and product delivery.
  • Study and understand the power generation business environment, reviewing emerging trends to exploit new opportunities ahead of competitors.
  • Deliver presentations and conduct seminars and meetings for clients, vendors, and advisors.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with customers, suppliers, and vendors.
  • Periodically assist NOV Corporate Marketing Team with new product launches and marketing collateral for existing and newly commercialized products.
  • Attend regular industry networking events to promote NOV, continue relationship development, and identify emerging trends.

Qualifications

  • Four-year degree in accredited University with technical or business focus preferred
  • Minimum 10 years of experience
  • Strong computer skills
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain customer relationships
