What We Need
We are looking for a business development manager to generate opportunities with media organizations in the United States.
What You'll Do
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams
- Develop and execute business growth strategies aligned with company objectives
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and industry stakeholders
- Generate leads through networking, industry events, referrals, and market research
- Manage the sales pipeline from prospecting through contract negotiation and closing
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and operations teams to support customer acquisition and retention
- Analyze market trends, competitive activity, and customer needs to identify opportunities
- Prepare proposals, presentations, pricing models, and business cases
- Maintain CRM records, forecasts, and reporting metrics
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field (MBA often preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, account management, or strategic partnerships
- Proven track record of achieving revenue and growth goals
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills
- Experience managing complex client relationships and enterprise sales cycles
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency with CRM platforms such as Salesforce or HubSpot
- Ability to work cross-functionally and independently in fast-paced environments
- Respect for others and a strong belief that others should do this in return
- Accountability for own work and desire to provide guidance to new team members
- Ability to contribute to several projects at the same time under a moderate level of direction

- Compensation: Salary to be determined by multiple factors including but not limited to relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and alignment with market data. In addition to salary, this position is also eligible for commissions.
