Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams
  • Develop and execute business growth strategies aligned with company objectives
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and industry stakeholders
  • Generate leads through networking, industry events, referrals, and market research
  • Manage the sales pipeline from prospecting through contract negotiation and closing
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and operations teams to support customer acquisition and retention
  • Analyze market trends, competitive activity, and customer needs to identify opportunities
  • Prepare proposals, presentations, pricing models, and business cases
  • Maintain CRM records, forecasts, and reporting metrics

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field (MBA often preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, account management, or strategic partnerships
  • Proven track record of achieving revenue and growth goals
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills
  • Experience managing complex client relationships and enterprise sales cycles
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms such as Salesforce or HubSpot
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and independently in fast-paced environments
  • Respect for others and a strong belief that others should do this in return
  • Accountability for own work and desire to provide guidance to new team members
  • Ability to contribute to several projects at the same time under a moderate level of direction

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including a knack for explaining complex information in a straightforward manner

Pay

Salary to be determined by multiple factors including but not limited to relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and alignment with market data. In addition to salary, this position is also eligible for commissions. $68,000 - $85,000
