Business Development Executive
Key Responsibilities
- Manage agency relationships and act as a resource and trainer for agency personnel regarding Great West's products, services, and procedures.
- Aid agencies with production goal setting and review progress on a quarterly basis with business partners.
- Build and maintain relationships with outside associations and groups while providing valuable information about Great West.
- Conduct market share analyses, projections, and identify new possibilities for agency partnerships.
- Facilitate communication flow between agents, underwriters, and other departments.
- Pearl with corporate marketing department to coordinate regional agent meetings, agent councils, and educational seminars.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field.
- Knowledge of insurance and preferably some exposure to the trucking industry.
- Minimum of 4 years in insurance marketing, agency producer, sales, underwriting, or claims position.
- Strong communication, time management, and relationship-building skills.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- A drive for continual development of product knowledge and insurance educational programs: AU, CPCU, CIC, CISR, CRM, STAR.
Qualifications
We are looking for candidates who have:
- A bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field.

- Minimum of 4 years in insurance marketing, agency producer, sales, underwriting, or claims position.
- Strong communication, time management, and relationship-building skills.
- A valid Driver’s License.
- A drive for continual development of product knowledge and insurance educational programs: AU, CPCU, CIC, CISR, CRM, STAR.
