JOB SUMMARY
THE BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE WILL PLAY A FUNDAMENTAL ROLE IN ACHIEVING OUR AMBITIOUS CUSTOMER ACQUISITION AND REVENUE GROWTH OBJECTIVES.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Source new opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound calls and emails.
- Understand customer needs and requirements.
- Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate executives for further development.
- Close sales and achieve quarterly quotas.
- Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest.
- Maintain and expand your database of prospects within your assigned territory.
- Team with industry partners to build relationship and close deals.
- Perform effective demos or assessments to prospects.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- Associates degree and equivalent industry experience required. Bachelors degree preferred.
- At least two years of related experience.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Proven inside sales experience
- Track record of over-achieving quota
- Strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Strong listening and presentation skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift to 15 pounds at times.
