Duties And Responsibilities
- Work with prospective customers to discover their “points of pain” and develop solutions.
- Accurately forecast sales deliverables and KPI’s.
- Achieve sales goals and be able to work independently.
- Perform sales prospecting using consultative sales techniques to build long-standing business relationships;
- Marketing; pricing
- Prepare and conduct heavy phone prospecting, sales presentations, virtual demonstrations, and handle contract negotiations with minimum supervision.
- Identify customer needs and utilize solution-based selling techniques to fully demonstrate value of BrightView services.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with prospects and existing clients.
- Build and maintain trust-based professional relationships with key decision makers.
- Plan daily and hit specific activity benchmarks and close business.
- Log activity consistently and reliably in CRM (Salesforce).
- Communicate proactively with all decision makers and influencers.
Education And Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
- Extensive face-to-face (B2B) selling experience at the mid-to-senior levels, 3-5 years of experience.
- Experience managing multiple projects and able to multi-task in a large territory.
- Proficient with computer programs including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with a CRM or SFA tool.
- Proven track record of sales goal attainment and pipeline management.
- Highly competitive, positive, and results driven.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills to build client-centric and solution/value-based proposals.
- Working experience with social media.
- Local knowledge and contacts in one or more market segments preferred.
- Experience in the service industry with commercial contract sales desirable.
Physical Demands/Requirements
- Constant operation of a computer and other office equipment such as a laptop, cell phone and sales programs/tools.
- Works both indoors and outdoors.
- Field based position, combination of office and customer facing.

- Combination of mobile and sedentary work; must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time.
- Customarily and regularly spends more than half of the time working away from BrightView’s places of business selling and obtaining orders or contracts for BrightView’s services.
- Ability to travel by car, train, and plane.
- Position needs to be able to traverse uneven grounds and walk on jobsites with clients and branch teams for periods of time up to 4 hours.
Pay Range
Pay Range: $70,000 - $85,000/year
