Position Description The ideal candidate will have an understanding and experience of the retail electricity market design and systems with a proven ability to communicate and engage with various stakeholders and to consistently deliver results. Key Responsibilities Preparation, maintenance and monitoring of Discussion and Market Change Requests for the Retail Market Industry Governance Group.Support RMDS Market Release planning, including impact analysis on current Market Design and cutover to new versionMarket Assurance co-ordination & executionCoordination of New Entrants to Retail Electricity MarketCoordinate publishing of updated, approved Market Design following Market ReleaseProvide secretariat expertise to market fora.Support miscellaneous market projectsSupporting analysis of market discussion and change requestsLiaising with and supporting market participants and new market entrantsSupport of the retail market assurance processesMaintain and update RMDS website content, ensuring market documentation, publications, notices, and stakeholder information are accurate, current, and accessible. Essential Experience and Qualifications Excellent communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamExcellent stakeholder management skillsGood analytical and problem solving skillsExcellent IT skills in Microsoft applicationsEcellent organisational skills Desirable 3rd Level Qualification or equivalent work experience in energy industry would be desirable. Location 56 Upper Mount Street Smart Working at ESB is designed to make ‘in-person’ time together as purposeful as possible while also enabling the effective use of digital tools and hybrid arrangements to preserve our commitment to flexibility. The successful candidate may work flexibly within the jurisdiction where they have been employed, with attendance at the workplace for in-person collaboration at least two days per week.
