About the Role
The Business Continuity and Risk Management Planner leads and manages Health Care Administration (HCA) risk management, business continuity planning, and integration of compliance functions with risk management. This role involves collaboration with all Health Care divisions and department-wide counterparts on ongoing and short-term projects, requiring planning, facilitation, assessment, and reporting. The incumbent provides project management expertise and serves as a member of the Chief Administrative Officer team, directly contributing to large-scale initiatives related to risk management, program integrity, business continuity, and administrative improvements for HCA.
Responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and lead HCA risk management activities and business continuity planning.
- Integrate compliance functions with risk management and business administration activities supporting HCA project management, policy continuity, and continuous improvement.
- Plan, facilitate, assess, and report on projects involving multiple divisions and department-wide initiatives.
- Provide project management expertise and collaborate with the Chief Administrative Officer team on large-scale initiatives.
- Engage in administrative analysis and improvements for HCA, focusing on risk management, program integrity, and business continuity.
Requirements
- 3 years of work experience in project management within a medium to large organization (500+ employees, multiple locations). Experience must demonstrate:
- Knowledge of business continuity concepts, planning approaches, standards, and best practices or similar activities.
- Project management experience in designing and implementing work plans to accomplish program goals.
- Applied knowledge of risk management principles and methodology within a multi-divisional organization.
- Demonstrated success completing complex projects, working both independently and collaboratively.
Preferred Qualifications
- Leadership skills to direct the work of others and bring projects to conclusion within budget, schedule, and quality requirements.
- Broad programmatic and business process understanding of the Medicaid enterprise.
- Team leadership ability, including assembling project teams, tracking processes and deliverables, and providing logistical direction for time-sensitive projects.
- Understanding of and ability to research federal and state laws and policies.
- Ability to use a variety of tracking and reporting methods, formats, and tools.
- Skilled writing ability for producing project documentation and other reports.
- Analyze abstract data, draw inferences, and communicate findings both orally and in writing.
- Format and present information clearly, including analysis results, for project sponsors, management, and CMS.
- Perform effectively under demanding deadlines and continuously fluctuating regulations and organizational relationships.
- Champion large-scale administrative projects with attention to detail and timelines.
- Experience working effectively with diverse teams and cultures.

Pay
$34.07 - $50.53 hourly; $71,138 - $105,506 annually
Schedule
Day Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Days of Work: Monday - Friday
