Business Banking Support Specialist

About the role

The Business Banking Support Specialist is a customer service and support role working directly with customer accounts, inquiries, and items related to client satisfaction with the U.S. Bank relationship. This position operates under the direction of Business Banking Relationship Managers and Business Banking Relationship Analysts, supporting sales teams in executing a One Bank strategy and growing market share.

Responsible for retaining and deepening client relationships by providing exceptional client experience and support that is knowledgeable, timely, and professional. Proactively identifies potential problems, compliance issues, and opportunities to maximize client satisfaction and encourage expansion of the relationship. Identifies products and services that meet clients’ unmet needs and ensures timely and accurate compliance with procedural, policy, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support sales teams in executing a One Bank strategy and growing market share.
• Retain and deepen client relationships through exceptional customer service.
• Proactively identify potential problems, compliance issues, and opportunities to enhance client satisfaction.
• Identify and recommend products and services that address clients’ unmet needs.
• Ensure compliance with procedural, policy, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Associate's degree, or equivalent work experience.
• Typically five or more years of job-related experience.

Skills

• Considerable knowledge of departmental and bank products and services.
• Proven customer service and problem resolution skills.
• Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages, including Microsoft Office applications.
• Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

Schedule

This role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule with an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work remotely for the remaining days.

Pay

The salary range for this role is $22.50 - $30.00 per hour, reflecting figures based on the primary location. Actual range may differ based on the location of the role.
