About the role
Wells Fargo is seeking a Business Banking Relationship Management Manager in Consumer & Business Banking, providing coverage for Business Banking Relationship Managers. This leadership position involves managing and developing a team of business bankers with a focus on customer relationship development, customer experience, and risk management.
Responsibilities
- Promote business growth by implementing strategies to increase revenue through onboarding new customers, deepening relationships with existing customers, and retaining credit or deposit balances.
- Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and risk control development.
- Make decisions and resolve issues regarding resources, objectives, and team operations to meet business goals.
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers at multiple levels.
- Work with other managers and department leadership on hiring, training, development, and performance evaluation.
- Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Small Business Banking Relationship Management.
- Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent.
- Visit business banking employees, customers, and prospects within an assigned market/geography (onsite presence required).
This position has customer contact duties that may include assessing needs and referring customers interested in dwelling-secured products to a SAFE team member. The role involves assisting customers without taking applications or negotiating terms of dwelling-secured transactions. Individuals must meet Loan Originator (LO) requirements under Regulation Z, including financial responsibility, character, and background standards.
Requirements
- 5+ years of Business Banking experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
- 2+ years of leadership experience.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of supervisory or management experience.
- Proven collaboration skills across various levels of the organization.
- Strong leadership, team-building, and partnership skills.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with a strategic business focus.
- Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and influence decisions.
- Ability to drive successful execution of business imperatives, including planning, prioritizing, and goal-setting.
Pay
$143,000.00 - $224,000.00 base pay range. Pay may vary based on factors such as performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.
