Responsibilities
- Work cooperatively with and through others, building and maintaining relationships.
- Connect quickly with a focus to motivate and persuade others to act.
- Operate at an extremely fast pace and handled quickly, correctly, and efficiently while working within established guidelines.
- Maintain a diverse audience and provide exceptional service.
- Train and coach a successful sales team in the pursuit of small business and consumer clients for the bank.
- Act as a key point of contact for clients.
- Provide a full range of business banking services to clients with an emphasis on deposit, treasury management and loan products.
- Drive the Work Perks Banking initiatives with business clients.
- Demonstrate a strong knowledge of mortgage, business, installment loan options, and provide a broad base of financial and credit services.
- Assist other departments as needed, build a great rapport with clients and fellow associates, while treating others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position.
Requirements
- Associates Degree or equivalent 2 years banking experience with external business development.
- Registered and licensed in the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) as required by the S.A.F.E. Act, and NBH's compliance policies related to these requirements including acceptable background check investigation results.
- Driving is required with this position. Applicants must have a valid driver's license (may not be learner’s, restricted or “to and from work” license) and driving history that meets the Bank’s driver standards.
Desired Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher.
- Treasury Management sales experience.
- Consumer lending background and business lending experience.
- Bilingual language skills.
- Driven and motivated self-starter.
- Strong financial acumen and understanding of risk management.
- Passionate about proactive sales and the prospecting of new business.
- Effective written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills; demonstrated ability to speak effectively to internal and external clients.
- Strong work ethic with an attention to detail and ability to complete work accurately.
- Ability to think logically in order to analyze situations and make sound decisions.
- Capacity to work with multiple computer and software systems.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as cash back and percentages.
