Responsibilities
- Meet with each department head to determine their business application needs.
- Work with the business to develop the business case for each project.
- Identify the budget and utilize tools and templates to manage each stage of the project.
- Implement standard business processes and minimize the use of custom applications in COTS software.
- Maintain the Business Application Inventory list and identify the roadmap for each application.
- Ensure regulatory compliance related to electronic information, such as HIPAA and Sarbanes-Oxley.
- Engage in cross-functional teams to define and implement process improvements that benefit the customer.
- Comply with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and FSMA guidelines, as well as safety regulations.
- Perform duties within SQF food safety and quality standards.
- Conform to regulatory compliance related to electronic information in areas such as HIPAA and Sarbanes-Oxley.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on manufacturing and distribution business applications experience as a Business Applications Manager (BSAM).
- Minimum of 5 years experience with ERP/WMS full lifecycle implementation and support.
- Minimum of 5 years experience with Master Data Management (MDM) and Product Information Management (PIM).
- Experience developing standardized business processes in Supply Chain Management (SCM), customer service, and warehouse/distribution.
- Experience with Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) and Global Distribution System Network (GDSN).
- Experience implementing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for each business operation area.
- Previous experience as a Project Manager is strongly desired.
- Experience with demand planning applications, Power BI, Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Warehouse Management System (WMS), and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) is strongly preferred.
