Job Summary
We are seeking a Business Applications Manager to lead the strategy, optimization, and day-to-day management of Edesia’s core business systems, including ERP, Salesforce, and related enterprise applications. This role sits at the intersection of IT and business operations, acting as both a systems leader and business partner.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Own and manage core business systems (ERP, Salesforce, and other enterprise tools)
- Configure, maintain, and continuously improve system functionality and performance
- Ensure system reliability, data integrity, and alignment with business needs
- Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to gather requirements and identify opportunities for improvement
- Translate business processes into scalable system solutions
- Serve as a trusted advisor bridging technical and non-technical teams
- Lead and execute cross-functional system implementation and enhancement projects
- Contribute to long-term applications strategy, including ERP evaluation, selection, and migration
- Apply structured project management practices to deliver initiatives on time and within scope
- Partner with teams to improve reporting capabilities and data accessibility
- Develop or support dashboards, queries, and reporting tools (e.g., SQL, built-in analytics)
- Promote data-driven decision-making across the organization
- Drive user adoption through training, documentation, and change management
- Troubleshoot issues and provide ongoing support to end users
- Continuously improve user experience and system utilization
Qualifications
- 5–8+ years of experience in business systems, applications management, or similar roles
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (manufacturing environment strongly preferred)
- Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms
- Strong understanding of business processes across operations, finance, or supply chain
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional projects and stakeholders
- PREFERRED: Supporting ERP implementations or migrations, familiarity with reporting tools and basic SQL, experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or nonprofit environments, project management certification or formal training
Working Conditions
A hybrid work environment with on-site presence in North Kingstown, RI. Occasional off-hours support may be required during system upgrades or critical issues.
