Business Analyst I - IT Asset Management

Role Overview: The Business Analyst I - IT Asset Management supports the administration of IT hardware assets within ServiceNow HAM, ensuring accurate tracking, data integrity, and compliance with ITAM policies. Key Responsibilities Maintain asset and CMDB data accuracy through data entry, updates, and validation.Support inventory reconciliation, physical audits, and resolve asset discrepancies.Assist in developing and documenting IT hardware standards and streamlining procurement processes.Execute hardware lifecycle transactions, including receiving, tagging, transfers, and disposals.Generate reports and dashboards to track asset utilization and lifecycle status.Support governance, compliance activities, and audit preparations.Aid in hardware discovery and integration updates to ensure accurate asset records.Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to resolve asset-related issues. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s in IT, Business, STEM, or related field; or equivalent experience.1-3 years in IT Asset Management or related roles; experience with ServiceNow HAM preferred.Knowledge of IT hardware, peripherals, and lifecycle standards.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and analytical tools.Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.Certifications such as ServiceNow HAM Fundamentals or ITIL are advantageous.
