Business Analyst II - IT Asset Management

Role Overview: The Business Analyst II - IT Asset Management oversees the complete lifecycle of IT hardware assets, from receipt to disposal, using ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management (HAM). Key Responsibilities: Manage hardware asset lifecycle activities, including deployment, refresh, and retirement within ServiceNow.Analyze asset data, identify compliance gaps, and recommend cost-saving and risk mitigation strategies.Configure and enhance ServiceNow HAM workflows, asset models, and integrations.Develop and document IT hardware standards, streamline procurement, and improve asset management processes.Create dashboards and reports to support operations, audits, and executive decision-making.Coordinate asset audits, reconcile discrepancies, and ensure CMDB compliance and governance.Provide training and operational guidance to teams and stakeholders.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including finance and procurement.Support process improvements through business cases and standardization proposals. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, STEM, or related; advanced degrees preferred.Certifications in ServiceNow HAM (Fundamentals, CIS), ITIL 4 Foundation, and others preferred.2-5 years of experience in IT Asset Management and Business Analysis; extensive ServiceNow HAM experience preferred.Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with IT asset management frameworks and endpoint devices.Ability to handle multiple priorities, work independently, and collaborate effectively.
