The Commerce Product Management & Engineering (CPM&E) team drives Cisco’s growth by enabling seamless software procurement through Public Cloud Marketplaces like AWS, Azure, and Google. We bridge the gap between complex business requirements and scalable technical execution to ensure Cisco remains a leader in cloud-based software delivery. Responsibilities
- Lead the optimization of Cisco’s PCM route-to-market by bridging business requirements and technical execution to ensure operational excellence.
- Partner with IT, Finance, and Business Operations to integrate our Indirect model into PCM platforms for seamless, scalable software delivery.
- Generate data-driven intelligence using predictive analytics and AI/ML insights to substantiate strategic recommendations and drive business value.
- Conduct deep-dive assessments of market and technology attributes to develop business cases that accelerate PCM adoption.
- Facilitate alignment between internal business units and external Cloud Service Providers to ensure the successful execution of our commerce initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in management or a related field with 5+ years of professional experience in software/SaaS, cloud delivery, or commerce operations.
- Hands-on experience with top-tier cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Demonstrated experience with Cisco Commerce systems and Buying Programs.
- Knowledge of Public Cloud Marketplace operations transaction models.
- Proven track record of executing projects using Agile methodologies.

Pay
Starting salary range for this position is $111,100.00 to $147,500.00 (U.S. and Canada locations, excluding incentive compensation, equity, or benefits). Individual pay is determined by the candidate’s hiring location, market conditions, job-related skillset, experience, qualifications, education, certifications, and/or training. Full salary ranges for specific locations:
- New York City Metro Area: $134,500.00 – $202,600.00
- Non-Metro New York State & Washington State: $119,200.00 – $200,800.00
For quota-based sales roles, the ranges include base pay and sales target incentive compensation combined.

- Eligibility for annual bonuses (non-sales roles, subject to Cisco’s policies)
- Eligibility for Cisco restricted stock units (vesting based on continued employment)
Employees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on top of base salary, split between quota and non-quota components. Quota-based incentive pay structure:
- 0.75% of incentive target for each 1% of revenue attainment up to 50% of quota
- 1.5% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 50% and 75%
- 1% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 75% and 100%
- At or above 1% for each 1% of attainment beyond 100%, with no cap on incentive compensation
Non-quota-based sales performance elements may pay 0% up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold for sales incentive compensation.
