• Split Shifts - 5:30am-9:00am & 1:00pm-5:00pm (example only)

Requirements

• At least 18 years old
• Pass a background check, CORI/SORI, and drug screen
• Effectively communicate in English (spoken and written)

What You’ll Be Doing

• Safely assist students as needed, including helping them enter and exit the vehicle, using the vehicle’s lap and shoulder belts, and safely securing them in car seats and booster seats
• Monitor student behavior to provide appropriate guidance, feedback, and direction when necessary
• Report unsafe and inappropriate student behavior to management; follow directions and implement corrective steps as assigned
• Communicate effectively and clearly in English with students, parents, teachers, and Butler's Bus staff
• Use Butler's Bus two-way radio system
• Have the physical capability to safely install car seats and booster seats
• Follow written and verbal directions and instructions from supervisors
• Demonstrate a willingness to work effectively with school age children with special needs
