Bulk Minor Operator- 2nd Shift

About the Role

Follow scheduled recipes and supply ingredients for each recipe to the Mixer Operator. The Bulk Minor’s Operator must weigh all chemicals accurately and consistently.

• Transfer material from bulk bags or “supersacks” to smaller paper or poly bags to a more precise weight that can be handled efficiently at the mixer (typically target weights of 30-50 lbs).
• Communicate with additional staff members.
• Responsible for weighing of materials.
• Proper inventory control of raw materials and finished products.
• Properly label skids, boxes and fill out any applicable paperwork.
• Perform monthly inventory count.
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines along with assisting in modifying and updating procedures.
• Operate a forklift for various functions.

• Necessity for attention to detail.
• Ability to operate machinery safely and efficiently.
• Capable of maintaining quality control by monitoring production output.
• Ability to identify any issues with the product or process.

Requirements

• One or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Willing to work overtime including weekends.
• Close visual work required.
• Knowledge of general computer skills.
• Attention to detail.

Schedule

2nd shift: 2:45 pm – 11:00 pm, Monday–Friday.

Pay

The hourly rate for this position is $18 per hour, plus a $1.00/hour shift premium for 2nd and/or 3rd shift.
