We’re seeking a Machine Operator I to join a premier manufacturing client in West Melbourne, FL.
About the role
You’ll work in Printed Circuit Board (PCB) Assembly, operating and maintaining equipment such as screen printers, glue machines, reflow ovens, SMT placement machines, stencil cleaners, and conveyors. Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and maintain equipment used in PCB Assembly.
- Interface with complex machine hardware and software to ensure proper operation.
- Inspect your own work to ensure quality and report any defective components.
- Maintain accurate data logs and ensure the cleanliness of the work area.
- Follow written and verbal instructions in compliance with established workmanship standards.
- Participate in quality teams and train other employees as required.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
- 1+ years of experience operating SMT equipment (preferred).
- IPC-A-610 certification (preferred) and completed ESD training.
- Knowledge of component identification, nomenclature, and handling, including ESD requirements.
- Basic computer skills, good organizational abilities, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to follow written procedures, verbal instructions, and visual aids, and communicate effectively in English.
- Familiarity with ISO9001 and IPC-610 requirements (preferred).
- Willingness to work 2nd shift (3:30 PM – 11:30 PM, Monday - Friday) and flexible hours, including weekends.
- Must meet the requirements to be a US Person as defined in 22 CFR Part 120.15 (U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, refugees, asylees, or those granted amnesty due to ITAR-controlled technical data).
Pay
$18.00 per hour.
Schedule
2nd shift, Monday - Friday, 3:30 PM – 11:30 PM, with flexibility to work weekends as needed.
