Job Function
- Program and run Mycronic pick and place machines
- Program and run Mycronic Jet Printer
- Able to program and set reflow oven
- Setup and operate assigned production equipment while achieving goals for quality, efficiency, and productivity
- Monitor the operation of equipment to ensure that assemblies are built to print and in compliance with applicable workmanship standards
- Inspect printed solder paste and component alignment for accuracy
- Understand and identify defects in accordance with applicable workmanship standard and class
- Perform manual placement of SMT and PIH components when needed
- Load feeders for equipment and wash boards as needed
- Electrical testing of assemblies as required
- Inspect product using microscope, halo light, and X-Ray as required
- Stenciling and screening of PCBs as required
- Troubleshoot the pick and place machine when issues occur
Skills Required
- Attention to details
- Mycronic training / machine skills is a plus
- Computer skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, job orders, specifications, drawings, schematics, process sheets, wiring diagrams, small print, and work instructions
- Knowledge of 3D X-Ray is a plus
- Component identification skills
- Recognize and identify the different types of solder paste and their applications
- Knowledge of IPC-A-610 specification
Schedule
Day Shift (Monday – Thursday)
- 4–10-hour days
