Short Block Operator 2nd shift

About the role

This position is responsible for operating machinery used in the foam manufacturing process, and operating a forklift to move foam buns throughout the warehouse. The Short Block Operator is responsible for meeting production and quality standards for the department.

Responsibilities

• Perform length, thickness, and width quality checks with a tape measure
• Maintain efficient operation of the chop saw to include cutting foam slabs to proper length
• Identify and report conditions to supervisor or team lead that may affect the operation of the chop saw
• Must be able to read and understand cutting programs
• Work safely in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree Required
• Basic Computer experience required; SAP preferred
• Forklift Experience required

Skills

The successful candidate will be expected to communicate both verbally and in writing with the department supervisor and team lead. This position will require the safe operation of a forklift along with computer use.

Pay

$17.90 to $18.49

Schedule

2nd shift, typically 3:30pm to 12am
