About the role

This position serves a variety of duties that include but is not limited to: assisting with software selection, managing facility models, creating and maintaining architectural models, and coordinating project documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Aiding in the selection, management, and testing of BIM application platforms, including 3D modeling, 4D scheduling, and 5D cost estimating software.
  • Maintaining and updating over 20 million square feet of existing facility models using Autodesk AEC Collection software.
  • Creating and modifying 3D models and coordinating models with Navisworks.
  • Maintaining Archibus space management information within 3D models.
  • Distributing documents to customers, job sites, and vendors.
  • Coordinating with staff and customers verbally and in writing.
  • Maintaining connectivity between models and BIM SharePoint sites.
  • Coordinating project closeout with Project and Construction Management and reviewing model data for accuracy.
  • Managing Autodesk Construction Cloud (BIM 360) collaborative project sites.

Requirements

Physical Requirements: climb stairs, sit for long periods, occasionally stoop, kneel, or crouch, use hands and arms to reach, grasp, and manipulate objects. Remote Work Environment: Knowledge, skills, and abilities as outlined in the 'Education, Experience and Certifications' section.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or equivalent from an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in construction/engineering industry or equivalent.
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of plans and specifications.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in required software (Revit - Autodesk AEC Collection).
  • Effective written and verbal English language communication skills.
  • Ability to use independent judgment, problem-solving ability, self-starting, and prioritizing based on relevant factors.
  • Revit Certified Associate or Revit Certified Professional preferred, although not required.

Skills

Expert skill level in Building Information Modeling software for review, coordination, and updating of facility models.

Compensation base listed within the listed pay range based on factors such as qualifications, skills, relevant experience, and/or training. Premium pay such as shift, on-call, and more based on a teammate's job. Opportunity for annual increases based on performance.

Schedule

Full time, Benefits eligible, 40 hours per week, remote work environment.
