About the role

To serve as a lead and/or point person and provide a full range of cleaning, custodial or janitorial duties associated with the care, cleaning, and maintenance of multiple buildings at assigned location.

Responsibilities

• Provide a full range of cleaning, custodial or janitorial duties associated with the care, cleaning, and maintenance of multiple buildings at assigned location.
• Serve as a lead and/or point person for cleaning tasks.
• Ensure all assigned buildings are clean and maintained to high standards.
• Handle heavy lifting, climbing, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling equipment and materials as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent credential.
• Valid driver's license.
• Must be able to satisfactorily undergo a State Police records check.
• Must be in good physical condition and have sufficient strength to do heavy lifting, climbing, balancing, walking, stooping and handling equipment and materials to perform cleaning duties.

Qualifications

• Each additional year of approved formal education may be substituted for one year of required work experience and/or each additional year of approved work experience may be substituted for one year of required formal education.

Skills

• Knowledge and understanding of the safe handling of solvents, chemicals and disinfectants.
