We are seeking a Builder Development Manager to manage and grow our builder business in the South Central market. Fisher & Paykel has been designing products since 1934 and has grown into a global company operating in 50 countries and manufacturing in Mexico, Italy, Thailand, and New Zealand. The Specifiers, Designers, and Architects (SDA) market is one of huge opportunity for us and requires a very special skill set to develop and leverage the key relationships required.

Responsibilities

  • Develop relationships using your well-developed "hunter" skills with the SDA market segment.
  • Introduce our brands, deliver product training, and provide expertise where needed.
  • Support our customers' design process and give advice on installation to guide them through to complete the sale with our Builder Dealer Network.
  • Intimately understand all aspects of our brands and develop detailed sales and marketing plans to grow market share within the SDA segment.
  • Act as a product expert, project manager, and excellent stakeholder manager.
  • Leverage your drive and ambition to help others succeed, utilizing your consumer sales and marketing knowledge.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of sales experience working with the builder or designer community.
  • In-depth knowledge of the builder business.
  • Ability to work weekends and travel throughout the North Central US region.
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred or equivalent work experience within the industry.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Pay

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $110,000 – $120,000 annually. Final compensation will depend on factors including education, relevant experience, qualifications, internal equity, and market data. This role is also eligible to participate in our sales incentive compensation plan with estimated on-target earnings of $148,500 – $162,000 annually, assuming 100% achievement of assigned sales targets.
