About the role

We are hiring a remote Budget & Contracts Coordinator to collaborate with clinical, regulatory, marketing, and business development teams, ensuring timely contract execution and start-up of new clinical studies.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate and effectively communicate with clinical, regulatory, marketing, and business development teams to ensure timely contract execution and start-up of new clinical studies
  • Review and track protocol amendments that may affect budget line items to ensure all points of costs are accurately represented
  • Develop and/or review budgets according to contract guidelines; track and maintain project and contract timelines
  • Evaluate financial viability of clinical trials
  • Perform all duties in an ethical, safe, and prudent manner
  • Assist with training new hires as needed
  • Assist with key initiatives and process improvements within the department
  • Represent Flourish Research professionally and courteously when interacting with staff, clients, and vendors
  • Additional duties as assigned by management

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare, finance, or related field
  • Two or more years of experience in research preferred
  • Working knowledge of medical terminology preferred
  • Detail-oriented, impeccably organized, and able to work both independently and with a team
  • Strong ethical compass, honesty, and self-driven work ethic
  • Strong project management and leadership skills
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and align with operations
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Office365 products
  • Demonstrated experience in process improvement
  • Flexible and able to multi-task and prioritize competing demands
  • Ability to think independently and influence when appropriate

Work Environment

  • Work is performed in a remote office setting
  • Infrequent travel may be required
  • Daily computer use
  • Occasional evening and weekend work schedules may be required

Pay

$26 to $36 per hour (depending on experience)

Schedule

Monday–Friday day shift (40 hours per week)
