BUDGET ANALYST C-SES (PENDING POSITION CREATION) - 43004020

Brief Description of Duties

This position assists in completing the Legislative Budget Request; provides written review and analysis of proposed legislation; monitors monthly spending plans; reviews procurement documents for budgetary sufficiency; makes recommendations and ensures technical accuracy of budget amendments for assigned divisions; and monitors performance measures and standards for assigned divisions.

Minimum Qualifications

• Four (4) years of professional experience in an Accounting or Finance related field is required. A post-secondary degree may be used as an alternative for years of experience on a year-for-year basis.
• Experience in FLAIR (PALM) and/or LAS/PBS.
• Experience working with Excel and Word.

Security Background Check

• Must be willing to work Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• The hiring salary range is $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 and will be commensurate with experience.
• Employees of the Department of Financial Services are paid on a monthly pay cycle.
