Brief Description of Duties
This position assists in completing the Legislative Budget Request; provides written review and analysis of proposed legislation; monitors monthly spending plans; reviews procurement documents for budgetary sufficiency; makes recommendations and ensures technical accuracy of budget amendments for assigned divisions; and monitors performance measures and standards for assigned divisions.
Minimum Qualifications
- Four (4) years of professional experience in an Accounting or Finance related field is required. A post-secondary degree may be used as an alternative for years of experience on a year-for-year basis.
- Experience in FLAIR (PALM) and/or LAS/PBS.
- Experience working with Excel and Word.

- Ability to develop and regulate a system of internal controls within the position’s scope of authority and responsibility and to see to it that staff subject to supervision are appropriately regulated and supervised in this regard.
Security Background Check
- Must be willing to work Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- The hiring salary range is $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 and will be commensurate with experience.
- Employees of the Department of Financial Services are paid on a monthly pay cycle.
