About the role
The Autism Clinic, a division of the non-profit Hope, provides ABA services to children aged 2-8 with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Treatment plans are tailored to each child's unique needs, and all professionals collaborate to achieve optimal outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Teach children with ASD using ABA principles
- Communicate with families/guardians about their child’s progress
- Track session data and assist in achieving individualized communication and early learning goals
- Aid in planning and preparing for clinic-based group activities
- Model professional appearance and attitudes
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- High School Diploma or equivalent education
- Successful background clearance
Prior Experience
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a psychology, education, or human services related field
- Experience working with people with developmental disabilities
- Enthusiasm for working with children
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
