Serving children ages 2–8, the Autism Clinic offers applied behavior analytic services (ABA), parent and family guidance, and in some settings, speech therapy. Each child’s treatment plan and goals are individualized to meet their unique needs, and all professionals collaborate for optimal client outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder at the Hope Autism Clinic to teach using the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
  • Effectively communicate with families/guardians about their child’s progress.
  • Work with the treatment team to track session data and help clients achieve individualized communication and early learning goals.
  • Assist with planning and preparing for clinic-based group activities.
  • Model professional appearance and attitudes.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent education.
  • Successful background clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, or a human services-related field.
  • Experience working with people with developmental disabilities.
  • Enthusiasm for working with children.
  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
