About the role
The Autism Clinic, a division of the non-profit Hope, provides ABA services to children aged 2-8 with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Treatment plans are individualized to meet each child's unique needs, and professionals collaborate to achieve optimal outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Teach children with ASD using ABA principles
- Communicate with families/guardians about their child’s progress
- Track session data and help clients achieve communication and early learning goals
- Assist with planning and preparing for clinic-based group activities
- Model professional appearance and attitudes
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- High School Diploma or equivalent education
- Successful background clearance
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a psychology, education, or human services related field (preferred)
- Experience working with people with developmental disabilities (preferred)
- Enthusiasm for working with children (preferred)
- Obtained Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) (preferred)
