About the role
The Brunswick County Sheriff's Office Communications Center seeks to hire skilled and dedicated individuals to join its team. The center serves all field personnel, investigators, and specialty units, and handles 9-1-1 call and dispatch services for all municipalities within the county.
Responsibilities
- Process and dispatch emergency calls for law, fire, and EMS assistance
- Provide administrative support and training in emergency communications functions
- Operate as part of a highly trained and specialized team
- Support the mission of safeguarding lives and property, and protecting the innocent
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to pass a background investigation
- Completion of physical agility tests may be required
