Breast Microsurgeon - Open Rank - Assistant, Associate, Professor

Position Emphasis

The Department of Surgery at the University of Colorado, School of Medicine, in conjunction with the University of Colorado Hospital, is recruiting a residency-trained Plastic Surgeon to join the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery for a 1.0 FTE position available at the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor.

Key Responsibilities

• Adult general plastic surgery (including reconstructive, microsurgery, breast surgery, and aesthetic/cosmetic)
• Care of patients at the University of Colorado Hospital and its affiliates
• Demonstrate effective interpersonal and communication skills

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications

  • Medical Degree from an accredited school of medicine
  • Eligibility for Board Certification in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery
  • Demonstrated experience/training in microsurgical techniques
  • Ability to obtain license to practice as a physician in the state of Colorado with prescriptive privileges

• Preferred Qualifications

  • Clinical or basic science research experience
  • Residency Director/Assistant Director experience
  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Effective interpersonal and communication skills, Ability to work in a team environment

Anticipated Pay Range

HIRING RANGE:

• Assistant Professor: $325,000-$350,000
• Associate Professor: $350,000-$415,000
• Professor: $415,000 - $450,000
