About the role

The Branch Sales Specialist supports the Denver branch by providing technical product knowledge and training to branch sales representatives, coordinating price and delivery quotes, and offering fill-in support to inside sales.

Responsibilities

  • Sells company products and services via telephone, Internet, e-mail and fax.
  • Provides price and delivery quotes within customer timeline by working with the product manager and the manufacturers representative.
  • Takes customer calls, pursues sales, and expedites parts when the Account Representative is unavailable.
  • Facilitates and coordinates large quotes (over 100 line items) with sales and the TTI QS department.
  • Expedites customer orders, monitors delivery dates, and ensures product quality meets customer requirements.
  • Processes customer orders by entering them into the sales database for quote processing and delivery schedules.
  • Expands product knowledge by utilizing all resources to discuss product options with customers and sell TTI strengths.
  • Participates in the TTI Total Quality process by following defined policies and procedures to maintain efficient sales cycle.
  • Compiles list of prospective customer leads from various sources and increases customer account base.
  • Works with the Regional Credit Manager to resolve customer credit issues.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor’s degree with one to three years of sales experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Exceptional knowledge of company products and services.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including excellent presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to calculate discounts, commissions, proportions, and percentages.
  • Ability to write reports and correspondence professionally.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications at an advanced level.

Qualifications

  • Must be a U.S. Person as defined by ITAR.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Pay

$22.00 to $25.00 per hour.
