About the role

The Branch Manager will oversee the operations and performance of the Northgate branch, focusing on loan and deposit growth through relationship-based community banking. The role involves leading a team, managing credit risk, and developing new business.

Responsibilities

• Drive growth in deposits and loans through proactive, relationship-based community banking
• Manage a complement of exempt and non-exempt personnel
• Expand existing business relationships and develop new business
• Oversee both inside and outside sales efforts
• Direct branch activities, ensuring operational and credit risk management compliance
• Extend credit to businesses and individuals through various loan types
• Engage in community development and relations
• Process cash transactions and other customer service duties

Qualifications

• College degree and 6+ years of experience in branch banking, retail management, or related field
• Significant experience in banking industry, including lending and banking products
• Excellent customer service and management skills
• Proven ability to make sound decisions, build relationships, and work with diverse clients
• Strong preference for candidates with business development and local community relationship building experience
